Hostels are an option for the young and adventurous, especially if you are doing one of those wild backpacking trips… not for me though. I’m actually a big fan of hotels.com because it has a rewards program to earn credits towards future hotel stays. I love going up to Maine for a weekend (especially Ogunquit and Kennybunkport) and I have been pleasantly surprised to have occasional credits that covered my stay.
